Kishore Bhirdikar

I am an ethnographer with deep interest in questions of development, gender, youth aspirations and research methodologies in social studies. I have around twenty years of experience in development and related sectors and have worked in both NGO and academic institutions. I have worked in the areas of evaluations of micro finance sector, women's health and empowerment and trade unions interventions.

In my PhD research, I attempted to learn concepts and processes in social movement politics. My research publications have been in the areas of micro finance, social movements and the general idea of development.
